Amanda is an Architect and Urban Designer with over 25 years experience in master planning, urban design, architecture, community engagement, expert evidence and design review on a range of projects in the UK and overseas.
Recent experience includes developing master planning solutions for post-industrial and greenfield sites in and around London and other UK cities. Projects include major housing and mixed-use regeneration projects for both public and private sector clients. All projects involve complex planning processes and collaborative team working as well as a variety of approaches to community engagement.
A number of Amanda’s projects have included a successful role as an expert witness for Planning Hearings or Public Inquiries on urban design and architectural issues.
Riccardo is an urban designer and masterplanner with considerable experience in the management and delivery of some of the most important public realm schemes in London in the recent years. Most recently, he acted as Project Management for the design of Kingston’s Ancient Market Area.
For the past 5 years, he has worked as an urbanist for an engineering company. This experience has helped him to develop a solid understanding of the practical implications of design choices, the potential for integrating good urban design and innovative infrastructural solutions, and has strengthened his assessment expertise.
He values the lessons learned through his collaboration with some of the most creative architects and designers at an international level, and strives to bring this experience to every project. He has a wide-ranging experience of design, regeneration, masterplanning and community engagement and has worked in both the public and the private sectors.
Riccardo has a diverse professional background, with a passion for wayfinding and the use of light in urban design. He regularly writes articles on urban design and city planning and is actively involved with local community and professional groups both in the UK and in Italy.
Naike is an Urban Designer with experience in wayfinding projects. She studied in Milan (Polytechnic of Milan) and Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid). She was involved into the process related to the renovation of a part of the Central Station of Milan. She participated at different international context involving public realm strategies and landscape projects. Her Master of Science thesis focused on the walkability in contemporary cities, focusing on London, Copenhagen and Barcelona. She examined how quality public space improvements can foster the adoption of walking habits and developed a proposal which could be adopted as the Milanese strategy to improve a more sustainable mobility.
Naike is currently working on several masterplanning and engagement projects in the practice and is particularly developing more experience in community engagement, masterplanning, wayfinding and public realm projects.
